Event: National Day of Action to Defend Women’s Rights in Dallas!
When: Monday, July 15, 2013, 7:00pm – 9:00pm
Where: Dallas City Hall – 1500 Marilla Street Dallas, TX 75201
Who: The People who stand up to defend women’s rights and healthcare.
Dallas Rally is organized to oppose the Texas Legislature current senate Bill 1 Relating the regulation of abortion procedures, providers and facilities.
This bill impacts the millions of women, children and families negatively by forcing current clinics to shut down to unnecessary standard regulations, and requirements on abortion clinics throughout the state of Texas. The bill will restrict women from accessing the facilities, will discourage physicians from providing services, and will be in conflict with the United States constitution. The Governor requested a second special session as it failed to pass the regular session and the first special session. Tell the Governor to stop and LISTEN to the people! Thousands Marched in Austin Texas and around the State opposing this bill yet no proposed amendments were approved and no compromise have been achieved.
The Texas lawmakers are not medical professionals and we refuse to let them control our bodies and we refuse to let them make decisions about our health for us. Tell them NO!
Dallas will stand up with Texas women and oppose this poisonous bill. We demand for our voices to be heard!
Please come out and join the fight!
